Storage & Care Tips
Keep your sets pristine between wears. Proper storage protects your investment and keeps chrome finishes sparkling.
Read MoreHow to Apply Press-On Nails
- Prep your nails. Wash hands, push back cuticles, and gently buff the nail surface for better adhesion.
- Size each nail. Lay out all 10 press-ons and match each to the corresponding natural nail width.
- Apply adhesive. Use the included nail tabs for temporary wear or glue for longer hold. Apply a thin layer to both the natural nail and press-on.
- Press firmly. Align at the cuticle and press down for 10-20 seconds. Wipe away any excess glue.
- Avoid water. Keep nails dry for at least one hour after application for maximum longevity.
How to Remove Press-On Nails Safely
- Soak in warm water. Fill a bowl with warm soapy water and soak nails for 10-15 minutes to loosen the bond.
- Use cuticle oil. Work oil under the edges of the press-on to further break down adhesive gently.
- Lift slowly. Use an orangewood stick to lift from the sides. Never force or pry — patience protects your nails.
- Buff and moisturize. After removal, lightly buff away residue and apply cuticle oil or hand cream.
How to Reuse Your Lamia Nails
- Clean after wear. Remove old adhesive from the back of each nail using a gentle file or acetone-free remover.
- Sanitize. Wipe with alcohol and let dry completely before storing.
- Store flat. Keep each set in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches and breakage.
- Refresh the finish. A thin layer of top coat can revive chrome or holographic sets before the next wear.
Nail Prep Guide for Longer Wear
- Remove old polish. Start with completely clean, bare nails.
- Trim and shape. Shorten natural nails so they don't peek out past the press-on tips.
- Push back cuticles. This creates more surface area and prevents lifting at the base.
- Dehydrate the nail. Swipe with alcohol or a nail dehydrator to remove oils that weaken adhesion.
- Don't skip gloves. Wear gloves for dishes and cleaning to maximize wear time.
Storage & Care Tips
- Keep them dry. Store nails in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
- Use the original box. Each Lamia box includes a fitted insert to protect shape and art.
- Avoid heat. Don't leave sets in hot cars or near heaters — warmth can warp acrylic.
- Handle with care. 3D embellishments and chrome finishes are delicate; store face-up or flat.
